Pushkin Fine Arts Museum in Moscow will host January Evenings

The Arts Festival January Evenings that will be held at State Museum of Fine Arts (GMII) named  Pushkin from 19 to 26 January will be devoted to the music of Peter Tchaikovsky,  Benjamin Britten, Antonio Vivaldi. The information on that was reported by the event   organizers at a press conference in the museum.
The festival is traditionally composed of four activities. It will begin with the concert – first night of musical and literary composition The Snow Queen in the White Hall of the museum on January 19.

On January 22 at the center Museion the theatrical production “We are in metro!” will be preseneted.

On January 24 the creative workshop “We draw music” accompanied by performance of musical pieces by music students of the school named after Gnesins will take place.
On January 26 in the main building of GMII the gala concert with the participation of young musicians - winners of international competitions will be staged.

The first festival January Evenings was held at PushkinMuseum in 2007. Similar festivals take place in Kazan, Orenburg, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Tagil, they are organized by regional cultural and educational institutions.

January Evenings cover an audience of over 1500 people. This year the event is joined by more than 20 cultural institutions from different cities.
